Bullripper.com heavy duty utility Ford 4R100 electronic overdrive transmission and torque converter built by Transmission Exchange Co for 1998-2006 Ford truck applications. This transmission was used in many Ford truck applications including full size trucks and vans, as well as motor home, ambulance, etc... with gas and diesel engines. Note that this is the medium duty style 4R100 transmission (transmission in E450-E550-F450-F550). If your vehicle is a 1 ton or smaller (E150-E250-E350-F150-F250-F350), we have that version available in our store. This transmission can be built for 2WD or 4x4 application and comes with a heavy duty 'RV" style torque converter. You can ID your transmission by matching the pan formation in the photo, by checking the transmission ID Chart or you can email us with your specific application. This transmission comes with the standard 18 month unlimited mileage warranty. Of course, all of our BullRipper HD Automatic transmissions are fully remanufactured and dynomometer tested before leaving our facility, so you know it will work the first time. There is a $1100 core deposit included in the price. This is refundable upon return of your old transmission and torque converter. Please inquire for estimated return freight on core. The transmission cooler that Ford included with the 4R100 transmission is notorious for clogging up, so you will want to replace the cooling system when replacing your automatic transmission.
